This module offers an overview of how digital art and smart culture intersect with inclusive creative practices. It introduces the key concepts, opportunities, and challenges that shape the use of emerging technologies in artistic work with young artists with intellectual disabilities and neurodivergent profiles.
By attending the following module, participants will:
- Design inclusive digital art experiences that integrate smart technologies (e.g. interactive media) to engage young artists with intellectual disabilities and/or neurodivergent in creative expression.
- Implement strategies and best practices for using digital art tools in your work with artists with intellectual disability, ensuring these technologies are applied in an accessible, empowering, and ethical manner.
